Message from Programme Director

The AAS Executive Education Programme is a flagship leadership initiative of the African Academy of Sciences.It is designed for senior and mid-level managers and leaders who influence Africa’s development agenda and need practical tools to integrate science, technology and innovation into strategy, policy, investment and institutional decision-making.

Delivered through an 8-week blended format, the programme combines live online sessions , applied case studies, peer learning, executive reflection. It includes a mandatory one-week immersion at the AAS campus in Nairobi. Participants work on real strategic challenges and leave with an applied capstone that can support change in their organizations or sectors.

This flagship programme is part of AAS’s vision to establish a world-class Executive Education practice—delivering locally relevant, globally competitive executive learning experiences led by AAS Fellows and diaspora experts.
